PEE WEE FOOTBALL - Congratulations to the 3rd- 4th and 5th-6th grade pee wee football teams. Both teams ended their season with a 2nd place finish. We are proud of our teams!

PEE WEE CHEERLEADERS - A big thank you to our peewee cheerleaders for all they do to cheer on the teams. They put in many hours of practice preparing for the games.

FIRST GRADE PERIOD - The first grading period ends tomorrow. Report cards will be handed out next Friday, October 31st.

ROOM MOTHER HALLOWEEN PARTIES - K - 4 Halloween parties will be Friday, October 31st at 2:30 p.m. Students will parade around the parking lot in their costumes.

GIRLS PEE WEE BASKETBALL - Waterford Pee Wee Girls Basketball is hosting a 5th and 6th grade tournament on October 25th at Waterford High School. Please come out and support our girls.

PICTURE RETAKES - will be Friday, November 14th. If your child is having a retake, Daystar request that you return the proof and submit a $5.00 retake fee.

RED RIBBON WEEK - Next week we will celebrate Red Ribbon Week.

The theme for the week is "Love Yourself - Be Drug Free".

Dress up days for next week are:
" Monday - " Boot Out Drugs" - Everyone wear boots.
" Tuesday - "Turn Your Back on Drugs" - Wear clothes backwards.
" Wednesday - "Wear Red Day" to celebrate Red Ribbon Week!
" Thursday - "Band Against Drugs" - Wear headbands or bandannas.
" Friday - "Living Drug-Free is No Sweat" - Wear favorite sweatshirt/pants.

Students will receive points for dressing up, participating in a poster contest, and signing a pledge for the front bulletin board. Everyone that participates receives one point for their class. There will be three winning classrooms; one in each of the following Grades: K -2, 3-5, and 6-8. The winning classrooms will receive a movie and pizza party.

RED RIBBON WEEK MAGIC SHOW - Wednesday, October 29th

ANTIQUE APPRAISAL - 9:00 a.m. to Noon, Saturday, October 25th at Waterford Elementary. First item appraised costs $5.00, second item is $3.00. Sponsored by the Lower Muskingum Historical Society with the proceeds to benefit the Oliver Tucker Museum.

DISMISSAL - Students will not be released to anyone other than a parent without a note or a call from the parent. We must have a note, or a phone call, if the student is to ride another bus (home with another student, daycare, etc.) If we do not hear otherwise, your child will be put on the bus to go home.
