* Congratulations to the Junior High Girls Basketball Team for winning the Eighth Grade Washington County Tournament. What a perfect way to end the season!

* Zach Casada - Jr. High Wrestling placed second in the sectional and advances to districts.
* Pee Wee Wrestlers recently placed first in team points at their home wrestling tournament held February 15th. Trophy will be on display in school office.
* Lane Cline placed first in the Grand Central Mall Pinewood Derby.
* Briceson Cline placed second in the Grand Central Mall Pinewood Derby.

KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS BASKETBALL FREE THROW WINNERS: The following students advanced to St. Clairsville to the Regional Contest which was held February 22nd.
* Ciara Hilverding 7th grade
* Ethan Lang 6th grade
* Ethan Lang 6th grade advances to State Competition held in March

PTO BINGO - Sunday, March 8th - Doors open at noon, Bingo starts at 2:00 p.m.
We are asking that all classes help fill items for the Bingo. Please send items in by February 27th
Preschool - Family Travel Bag - Items may include travel games, books, snacks, puzzle books, sing along cd, etc.
Kindergarten - Picnic Bag - Items may include paper plates, plastic silverware, blanket, gift certificate for groceries, cups, sunscreen, tablecloth, etc.
First Grade - Family Game Night - Items may include board games, card games, popcorn, kool aid, etc.
Second Grade - Baking Bag - Items may include cookie sheets, cupcake liners, cookie cutters, measuring spoons, chocolate chips, etc.
Third Grade - Craft Bag - Items may include construction paper, scissors, glue, pipe cleaners, stamps, paper punches, etc.
Fourth Grade - Camping Bag - Items may include flashlight, matches, lantern, sleeping bag, first aide kit, etc.
Fifth Grade - Easter Bag - Items may include plastic eggs, candy, stuffed bunnies, Easter decorations, etc.
Sixth Grade - Office/School Supply Bag - Items may include notebooks, pencils, pens, post it notes, index cards, paper clips, stapler, etc.
Junior High - Movie Night - Items may include movies, movie passes, popcorn, movie style candy, popcorn bowls, etc.

PTO SPRING FUNDRAISER - Please have order forms and money in by Friday, March 6, 2015.

KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION - KINDERGARTEN SIGN-UP FOR 2015-2016 - It is time to register your child for 2015-2016 kindergarten. He/she must be 5 years old before August 1, 2015. Registration will be the week of March 9 - 13 from 8:00 - 3:00 daily (anytime that week at your convenience). This is a registration only and your child is not required to be here at this time. An appointment will be made for the screening which is scheduled for April 9 and 10. Please bring birth certificate, shot records, Social Security number, and a custody paper if this applies to you. The child must have 5 DPT, 4 polio, 2 MMR, 3 Hepatitis B, and 2 varicella (chickenpox).

PICTURE DAY - Daystar Studio will be taking individual spring pictures Monday, March 16th. No money or order is due at this time. Students will be provided with a "PROOF" from which you may order.

REGIONAL SPELLING BEE - Denise Young, Evan Swingle, Haydon Reynolds, and Draven Rowland will be competing Friday, March 13, 2015 at Marietta High School in the Regional Spelling Bee. We wish them the best of luck!


LOST AND FOUND - If your child has lost an item of clothing, please check out the lost and found. We have quite a collection of jackets, gloves, hats and shoes waiting to be found.

LUNCH ACCOUNTS - Please check your child's lunch account balance. We have several accounts that are overdrawn. **Over payment of funds will be reimbursed at the end of the school year at parents request or roll over to the next year.
