READY FOR A NEW SCHOOL YEAR!! - The building is shining! Our custodians and summer help have done an outstanding job of waxing, painting and preparing our school for students and staff. Thank you.

EARLY ARRIVALS - Students arriving at school before 8:00 a.m. are to wait outside the front door during suitable weather until the bell rings. Buses will unload at 8:00 a.m. Parents who bring children to school must use the side parking lot by the cafeteria to drop them off or pick them up in the afternoon. (this includes jr. high students). The tardy bell rings at 8:20 a.m., school is dismissed at 3:05 p.m.
NO PARKING IN THE FRONT PARKING LOT. That area is to be used for bus loading and unloading. If you are picking your child up from school, please wait outside the front doors.
DISMISSAL - Students will not be released to anyone other than a parent without a note or call from the parent. We must have a note or call if they are to ride another bus (home with another student, daycare, etc.). If you wish to pick your child up after school, be on time. If we do not hear otherwise, your child will be put on the bus. If you need to pick your child up mid-day, you must come to the office to sign them out. Office personnel will get your child for you. For safety reasons, all doors are kept locked.
ABSENCES - Please call the office before 9:00 a.m. if your child will be absent (984-2342) Mrs. Huck will be available by 7:45 a.m. You may leave a message at any time. We also need a written excuse or doctor's slip when student returns. If we do not hear from you, office personnel will call you at home or work. If we cannot contact you, the absence will be unexcused.
HANDOUTS - Your child will have several handouts the first day of school. Please get the emergency cards in ASAP. Give us more than one number that we can call. We may need to reach you quickly. If you intend to apply for free or reduced lunch, the deadline is September 30, 2014.
Due to Health Department regulations, no food may be heated in the
kitchen from packed lunches. Tip: Preheat your thermos with hot water
while heating the food. Empty the water and place hot food in a hot
thermos and it will stay warm through lunch.
