FIRE POSTER WINNERS - Winners of the recent contest sponsored by the Beverly-Waterford Fire Dept. are as follows: grade 1: Luke Stollar and Whitney Minx; grade 2: Khloee Ross and Shelbe Cochran; grade 3: Brier Offenberger and Luke Teters; grade 4: Olivia McCutcheon and Jasmine Lemon; grade 5: Cheyenne Alexander and Ryanne Hardman; grade 6: Astashia Gossett and Jimmie Weaver. Winners and their families were invited to the annual Fire Dept. pancake breakfast and received trophies. Good job!!

ANTIQUE APPRAISAL - The Lower Muskingum Historical Society will be sponsoring an antique appraisal program Saturday, Oct. 29 from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon here in the elementary cafeteria gym. Cost to have your item appraised is $5.00 for the first and $3.00 for each additional item. Proceeds to benefit the building repair projects at the Oliver Tucker Museum in Beverly. Public is welcome! HALLOWEEN - Room mother Halloween parties for grades K-4 will be Friday, Oct. 28 at 2:30 pm. Students bring costumes to school and will have a parade around the front parking lot. Beverly-Waterford trick or treat will be Sun., Oct. 30 from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m.
There is also a party at the rescue squad building in Beverly from 6 - 8 pm.

HALLOWEEN FUN - Cub Scout Pack 222 will be holding a Pumpkin Relay and Carving event on October 28. Come out to Wolf Creek Boy Scout Reservation at 5:00 p.m. for an evening of fun! For more information or to JOIN SCOUTS, call (740) 885-8404 or (740) 336-9254.

TOYS FOR CHILDREN - The American Legion Auxiliary #389 will again be sponsoring this program. Applications will go out Nov. 1 and the deadline to apply is Nov. 23rd. They will appreciate cash donations and new or gently used toys may be put in the collection tubs after Nov. 14. There will be a tub placed in the school office.

CHOIR - The choir Little Pizza Kits will be delivered on Thursday, Nov. 3 around 2:00 pm at the elementary. Please arrange for transportation of the kits if your child was involved in the selling. Also, if you missed ordering a kit, the sales will be open for one week. Please see a choir student or Mrs. Majoy if interested in ordering. Thank you!!

Oct. 28 First 9 weeks grading period ends - report cards go home Nov. 4
Nov. 3 The 8th grades are going to visit the Career Center. They will return before lunch.
Nov. 6 Daylight Savings time ends. Set clocks back one hour.
Nov. 9 8th grades will go to Columbus to attend a play all day
Nov. 24 - 28 Thanksgiving break
