TEACHER APPRECIATION - Thanks so much for the wonderful meal furnished by the Teacher Appreciation Committee on Parent Teacher Conference Day! It was much appreciated. BOOK FAIR - The Scholastic Book Fair will continue through Fri., Oct. 14. This is a great opportunity for students to purchase good books. The fair is sponsored by the Jr. High Student Council.

RIF - We want to thank the American Legion Auxiliary #389 for the Reading Is Fundamental book distribution this week. Every student in grades K-6 received a free book. A wonderful program! Thank you!!

PICTURES - Daystar studios will be taking individual pictures Tues. Oct. 18 (K-3) and Wed. Oct. 19 (4-8). No money is due at this time. You will receive a proof to purchase. More information to follow.

RAINFOREST - The PTO is sponsoring a "Rainforest" program on Oct. 19 for all students.

ANTIQUE APPRAISAL - The Lower Muskingum Historical Society will sponsor an Antique Appraisal program Saturday, October 29 from 9:00 - noon. Doors open at 8:30 a.m. Cost is $5.00 for the first item and $3.00 for each additional item. Proceeds to benefit the building repair projects at the Oliver Tucker Museum. Questions 984-4037.

HALLOWEEN - Room mother Halloween parties will be Friday, Oct. 28 at 2:30 p.m. for grades K-4. Students bring costumes to school and will parade around the parking lot in front of the school.

CAREER CENTER - Our 8th graders will be visiting the Washington County Career Center on Thursday, Nov. 3. They will leave at 8:30 and be back in time for lunch.

BUS - If you do not plan to be home when your child arrives on the bus in the afternoon, please make alternate plans. Bus drivers have a schedule to keep and cannot wait.

WRESTLING - Waterford Youth Wrestling sign-ups are Oct. 24 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm in the Cooper Commons for anyone interested ages 4-12. Questions call LeAnn Cline (516-5388
