EARLY DISMISSAL - School will be dismissed at 2:00 pm on Thursday, Sept. 29. Parent conferences are scheduled from 2:00 pm - 8:00 pm that day. THERE WILL BE NO SCHOOL THE NEXT DAY, FRIDAY, SEPT. 30.

PTO TEACHER APPRECIATION - The Teacher Appreciation Committee volunteers furnish food for teachers on Parent Conference days. If you would like to volunteer, contact Joni Adams (350-3524). Thanks!

PTO FUNDRAISER - Information was sent home regarding the PTO fundraiser. Some articles are displayed in the glass case in our hallway. Orders are due back Oct. 4th. Information is on the back of this page regarding T-shirt sales.

3RD GRADE TESTS - Third grade Ohio Achievement Reading tests will be given October 4.
FIRE PREVENTION - Grades 1-5 are working on fire prevention posters. The theme is "Protect your family from fire". Grade 6 will be writing essays. The Beverly Vol. Fire Dept. will be picking them up Oct. 10. 1st and 2nd place winners along with their families will be their guests at their annual fire prevention pancake breakfast Oct. 16.

SCARY STORIES - The Marietta Times is sponsoring a scary story contest for all students 1 - 8. The deadline is Oct. 21.

STUDENT COUNCIL - The new Jr. High Student Council members chosen for this year are (7A) Jared Miller, Madison Ohse; (7B) Grace Stutler, Jillian McCutcheon; (8A) Erin Roush, Emma Maddocks, Garrett Lemasters; (8B) Gabbi Tornes, Tessi Teters, Alex Branham. Officers are Pres.- Gabbi Tornes, Vice Pres.- Tessi Teters, Secretary - Garrett Lemasters, Treasurer - Alex Branham.

PICTURES - Student pictures are scheduled for Oct. 18 (K-3) and Oct. 19 (4-8). More information later.

CHICKEN BBQ - The Waterford Band Boosters will sponsor their annual Chicken BBQ before the homecoming football game on Friday, September 30th from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. (or until sold out) in the elementary cafeteria. The menu includes chicken, baked potato, green beans, roll, pie, and drink. ½ chicken dinners are $7 and ¼ are $5. Take out orders are available. TAKE YOUR FAMILY OUT TO DINNER!
