MRS. LYNCH - Welcome back to Mrs. Lynch. She is doing well and is very glad to be back with her students.

PTO TEACHER APPRECIATION - Many thanks go out to the members of the Teacher Appreciation Committee for the wonderful food for teachers on Parent-Teacher conference evening. It was truly appreciated during a twelve hour day. Committee members are Joyce Taylor, Debbie Weihl, Rachel Miller, Cierra Lang, Barb Maddocks, Jodi Leach, Jackie Hitt, Kim McCutcheon, Connie Kern, Becky Hendershot, Heidi Jackson, Jessica Lang, Roann Trader, Lucy Klintworth, Lora Heiss, Amanda Martin, Joanna Baldwin, Jennifer Young, Lisa Wagner, and Toni Teters.

BOOK FAIR - The Jr. High Student Council will sponsor a Scholastic Book Fair next week October 11 - 15 daily from 8:30 - 12:30. Information has been sent home.

MAKE UP PHOTOS - The photographer will be here Oct. 19 to do make up photos for any students who were absent September 29. They will also be taking candid shots and groups for the yearbook at this time.

FIRE POSTERS - Winners of the B/W Fire Dept. poster contest were Mackenzie Suprano, Draven Rowland, Joseph Pantelidis, Molly Ketchum, Shiloh Bond, Ciara Hilverding, Haven Walters, Rachael Adams, Donna Rae Stephen, Tesla Weaver, Trinity Jaeger, and Melanie Radabaugh. The winners and their families are invited to a fire prevention pancake breakfast on Sunday, October 10 at the fire station. Great work!

CHICKEN BBQ - The Waterford Band Boosters will again sponsor a chicken barbecue from 4-7 pm on Friday, October 8th in the elementary cafeteria preceding the Homecoming football game. The menu is Chicken, Baked Potato, Green Beans, Roll w/butter, Pie and Drink. Price is ¼ dinner $6.00, ½ dinner $7.00, ¼ chicken only $5.00 and whole chicken only $7.00. Takeout dinners available by 3:30 p.m.

BENEFIT - Benefit for Joe Donahue Family Sat. Oct. 23 in the Waterford High School gym. Fish fry 4-7 p.m. and square dance 7-10 p.m. Free dance - donations welcome featuring the Buckeye Travelers. Raffle drawing 9 p.m. Silent auction winners to follow. Organized by friends and community members. To donate for the silent auction, buy or sell raffle tickets or help in any way - call 984-2738 or 984-8422. Raffle tickets are available in the school office.

5-6 grade Pee Wee girls basketball team will be hosting at the Cooper Gym instead of the high school this weekend.
