NURSE NOTES: Watch for information to come in the mail regarding the H1N1 (Swine) flu. The health department has asked us to gather more information when you are calling your child off sick from school. We will be asking if they are fevered (above 100 degrees) and if your child has respiratory symptoms (stuffy/runny nose and cough). If you are leaving the absence on an answering machine, please let us know the answer to those two questions. The health department is trying to track numbers county wide of types of illnesses. You can help us give them accurate information. No names are given to the health department, only numbers of influenza-like illness. Thanks so much!
