Our 3-8 students had a great time skating Monday. It gave them a break from two stressful weeks of testing. Thanks PTO!


Friday, May 8 students in grades K-8 will participate in our annual mini Relay for Life to benefit the fight against cancer. A collection envelope and letter highlighting the events were sent home last week. Please read carefully so you will know what is going on. Send in names of your loved ones who have battled cancer to be displayed on our memorial wall. Thanks for your support.


Marching band is starting soon. See Mr. Sigman if interested.


Enrollment forms for Safetytown are now available in the school office. They should be turned in by Friday, May 8. Dates for the program are June 1-12 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon daily for 10 days. All sessions will be held rain or shine at Beverly Center Elementary School. It is sponsored by Beverly Lions Club in ooperation with Wolf Creek and Fort Frye Schools. There are also forms in the office for 7-8th grade
volunteers who would like to help. (For students entering kindergarten next year.)


The Leos will be holding their meeting Sat. May 9 at 10:00 a.m. at the United Methodist Church, Beverly, Ohio (just off of 339 N.) Age for membership is 12-18 and parents are welcome. Anyone entering as freshmen next year will need outside community service for National Honor Society and this one is great. Come and check us out! The WHS junior class is sponsoring their 2nd Annual Community Yard Sale to be held at Waterford Elementary parking lot on Saturday, May 9 from 9:00 ? 3:00. Tables cost $8.00 in advance and $10.00 on May 9. There will also be a bake sale and concessions. Contact Lauren Bosner at 749-3627 to purchase tables in advance or if you have any questions. *Donations of quality yard sale items are accepted.


The PTO is sponsoring a square dance May 8 from 6:00 ? 9:00 p.m. in the elementary parking lot. (WHS gym if raining). Fun for everyone come and enjoy!! Raffle tickets can still be sold until May 8. Turn in the money by Friday p.m. Please send in items for the basket raffle. Admission is $5 per person; $8 a couple; $10 for a family of 4. 5 and under free. SEE YOU THERE!!!


The Jr. High Student Council is hosting a talent show for our students on Friday, May 15 at 1:30 in the Cooper gym. 20 acts were chosen from those students trying out. Parents are welcome.


Students and their parents in grades 3-8 who have beenon the Principal's Roll the first three nine weeks have been invited toattend the fifth annual Academic Achievement Banquet on Tuesday, May 12 at 7:00 p.m. After awards they will enjoy ice cream sundaes provided by the PTO.
