We hope that everyone had a nice Easter. We have made up all of our snow days and hopefully will be on the regular schedule from now on. April showers bring May flowers. Check out the glassed in patio in the middle of school and see the beautiful tulips and daffodils. This has been a fourth grade project for the last few years. Good job!

OHIO ACHIEVEMENT TESTS

Our students will be taking State Tests for the next two weeks. Test schedule will again be on the back of today's Wildcat Connection. Make sure your child gets plenty of rest and a good breakfast. Please try to schedule appointments around this time if possible. It is very important for your child to be here.

PTO NEWS

Thanks for your help and participation with selling the Spring Raffle Tickets. Please keep selling. If you need more tickets, send in the stubs and money already collected along with how many more packets of tickets you need. If all students in grades K-8 sell their tickets we can raise approximately $4,000.

DID YOU KNOW……EACH YEAR YOUR P.T.O. PAYS FOR OVER $9,000 WORTH OF ACTIVITIES, REFRESHMENTS, FIELD TRIPS, AND OTHER EDUCATIONAL REQUESTS. IN ORDER FOR THESE THINGS TO CONTINUE WE NEED EVERYONE'S PARTICIPATION.

CHOIR NEWS

The Choir is sponsoring a Purse Bingo - Sunday, April 26.
Doors open at 12:00 noon (in the Commons at the elementary school), games
begin at 1:00 p.m.

WATERFORD BAND AND CHOIR SPRING CONCERT

Wednesday, April 29th in the Waterford High School gym. This includes the 5th Band, 6th Band, JRHS
Band, HS Band, Jazz Band, JRHS Choir and HS Choir. Band concert begins at 6:00 p.m. Choir concert begins at 7:00 p.m.

NURSE NOTES

A new Weight Watcher's session will begin Tuesday, April 28, 2009 at 7:00 a.m. in the elementary library. If any parent or family member would like to join this next 12-week session, please call me at 984-2342. We meet every Tuesday from 7:00 - 8:00 a.m.

EARTH DAY

The Ohio Power Company has invited our 4th grades to attend activities for Earth Day on April 30. This is always a very educational and fun day for the students.
