READING COUNTS
If you read a lot of books you are considered well read. But if you watch a lot of TV, you're not considered well viewed.

In grade six 31 out of 42 students which is 74% met the Reading Counts goal for the 3rd nine weeks. Reading winners include Janice Whalin, 1st place with 210 points, Joseph Coleman with 209 points, and Madison Sury with 129 points.For grade five 60% met their goal or 26 out of 43 students. 1st place
with 220 points, Megan Whalin; 2nd place with 192 points, Tiffany Holland; 3rd place with 163 points, Daulton Shriver. Grade 4 had 38 out of 46, or 83% met the goal of the third nine weeks. 1st place winner was Madison Ohse with 12 books; 2nd place Andrew Klintworth with 9 books; and 3rd place an 8 book two way tie between Nadine Lowery and Melanie Radabaugh. We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence then is not an act, but a habit. Aristotle Is reading your habit.

BUNNY HOP
The 7th annual Beverly-Waterford Bunny Hop 5K Run/Walk will be Saturday, April 11, 2009. Pre-registration fee of $10.00 includes T-shirt. Registration forms are available in the school office. GRADE 4 TRIP
The fourth grades will be going to an Achievement Advantage program at Campus Martius Museum on Friday, March 27. They will leave at 8:20 a.m. and return by 2:45 p.m.

GRADE PERIOD ENDS
The third grading period ended Friday, March 20. Report cards will be sent home this Friday, March 27. We still have students who have not paid this year?s $3.00 art fee. Please take care of this now. Also there is a limit of 5 charges for lunch. If your child has overdue charges please pay them ASAP as we cannot continue to let them charge.
