REVISED SCHEDULE
School will be dismissed early at 2:00 p.m. Thurs., Feb.12. Parent Conferences
are scheduled that day from 2:00 - 8:00 p.m. Due to weather we currently
have three days to make up. Therefore school will be in session on Friday,
February 13 and also Monday, February 16th. Our third make-up day will
be the Monday after Easter, April 13. (There will be free babysitting
(all ages) in the library during conference time.)
YEARBOOKS
Yearbook orders are now being taken through February 20. There
will be a very limited number of extras ordered so make sure to pre-order
by Feb. 20. The yearbook will be in full color this year and
all students will be pictured. The cost is $12.00 and checks are made
payable to Waterford Elementary School.
REMINDER
You are welcome to wait inside
to pick up your children at dismissal time. However, please wait near
the entrance. Do not wait near classrooms or go into the rooms to pick
up your child.
VALENTINE PARTIES
Room mother parties for K-4 will be Friday, February 13 at 2:30 p.m.
SPRING PICTURES
Individual pictures for K-3 will be Thursday, Feb. 26 and grades 4-8
on Friday, Feb. 27. More information will be sent home later.
KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION
for next year (2009-2010)
will be the week of March 16 - 20. Your child must be 5 years old before
August 1, 2009. This is a registration only and an appointment for the
screening will be made at that time. You will need to bring the child?s
birth certificate, shot records, Social Security number, and a custody
paper if this applies
to you. Your child must have or are in the process 5 DPT, 3 polio, 2
MMR, and 3 Hepetitus B shots. It is not necessary for the child to be
here at this time.
CHOIR
Reminder that the Waterford Choir is sponsoring an All You Can Eat Spaghetti
Dinner in the cafeteria on Valentine?s Day, Feb. 14 before the boys
basketball game Waterford vs. Parkersburg South. The price is just $5.00
for adults and $3.00 for children ages 12 and under. Proceeds go to
the Waterford Choir. Any desert donations would be greatly appreciated,
and all choir members are required to donate at least one
