WEATHER

So sorry that we missed last week's Wildcat Connection. With all the days off we were unable to do it. Hopefully we soon will be going to school on a regular schedule. We have missed 8 days due to bad weather, therefore as of now we have three days to make up. The first scheduled make-up day will be Friday, February 13th. The second scheduled day is the Monday after Easter, April 13.

PARENT TEACHER CONFERENCES

School will be dismissed at 2:00 p.m. onThursday, February 12. Parent conferences will be scheduled from 2:00 8:00 that day. School will be in session Friday, Feb. 13 as a make-up day due to snow.

CONF. BABYSITTING

The Muskingum Valley Leos will offer baby sitting service in the school library for children coming with parents on conference day. This service will be 2:00-8:00 p.m. There is no charge and no age limit. Schedule with ease about who is watching your children.

*The Muskingum Valley Leos will meet Sun., Feb 8 at 1:00 p.m. at the Beverly United Methodist Church. Age is 12 -18. Parents are welcome to attend for information. Mrs. Helen Harless (740) 525-6151.

ATTENDANCE COUNT WEEK

This week (Feb. 2 - Feb. 6) is the week we must send our attendance to the state. We need excuses from doctors or parents whenever your child is tardy, absent, or dismissed early.

READING BRINGS THE WORLD TO YOU by Mrs. Sue Price

Many students at WES understand the major difference reading makes and how reading can truly
let you have the world at your fingertips. In Grade 6 - 27 students met their Reading Counts goal. Top readers in Grade 6 are Joseph Coleman and Wyatt Barnum who both read 251 points. If you see Joseph or Wyatt, please congratulate them. 256 points is an amazing amount of reading. Second place Madison Sury 105 points and 3rd place Megan Whalin 96 points. Grade 5 - 30 students met their goal, 1st place reader was Lydia Beardsley with 132 points, 2nd place Janice Whalin 91 points, and 3rd place Tiffany Holland with 78 points. Grade 4 - 32 students met the goal. 1st place was Madison Ohse read 21 books (172 points). Please congratulate her, 21 books is a lot of books. 2nd place Cylus Reynolds 9 books and 3rd place
Collin Morris 7 books

VALENTINE PARTIES

PTO Room Mother Valentine parties K-4 will be Friday, Feb. 13 at 2:30 p.m.

CHOIR NEWS

This Valentine's Day is the Waterford Choir All You Can Eat Spaghetti Dinner. Enjoy all you can eat spaghetti, salad and dessert before the Waterford vs. Parkersburg South boys basketball game! Price is
just $5.00 for adults or $3.00 for children ages 12 and under! Proceeds go to the Waterford Choir. Any dessert donations would be greatly appreciated, and all choir members are required to donate at least one

DARE
The 5th grade DARE graduation is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Friday, Feb. 6th.

ART FEES
There are still several students who have not paid the $3.00 art fee. Please take care of this ASAP!
