HALLOWEEN PARTIES – K-4 room mother Halloween parties are Friday, Oct. 31 at 2:30 p.m. Students will have costumes but please do not wear them to school all day.
REPORT CARDS – Report cards will be sent home Friday, Oct. 31.
PTO NOTE – The students will be bringing home holiday raffle tickets (6 for $5.00) Please support your PTO.
TIME CHANGE – Remember to set your clocks back one hour on Sunday, Nov. 2. This is the end of daylight savings time.
PICTURE REMAKES – The photographer will be here Tuesday, Nov. 4 to do remakes and to photograph any students who were absent Oct. 1 and 2 or enrolled after those dates. If you need a remake and have not already made arrangements, please let your teacher know ASAP. All students are photographed for the yearbook regardless if you ordered pictures.
VETERAN’S DAY PROGRAM – The American Legion will present a Veteran’s Day program on Monday. Nov. 10 at 2:00 p.m. in the Cooper gym. NO SCHOOL ON TUESDAY, NOV. 11th (Veteran’s Day).
LUNCH CHARGES – Remember that there is a limit of 5 charges for lunch. Please respect this rule. Report cards may be held for unpaid lunch charges.
MIX IT UP LUNCH – On Tuesday, Nov. 13 we will celebrate Mix It Up At Lunch Day. Waterford Elementary will join 2,174 other schools in Ohio “mixing it up”. Students will enjoy lunch by taking a new seat in the cafeteria to meet a new person and make a new friend. Look for posters through out the school.

TOYS FOR CHILDREN PROGRAM – The American Legion Auxiliary Unit 389 will again be sponsoring the Toys for Children program. Applications will be sent home November 1st and must be returned before November 21st. if you wish to apply.
ART FEES – there are still some unpaid $3.00 art fees. If you have not paid, please take care of this ASAP.
NURSE NOTES – Mobile Dentist “Smile” program will visit the school again on Nov. 12, 2008. Please return the completed permission slips sent home this week.
